Hey, I am Shivani, Sorahi's Founder
Growing up in Bikaner, I was surrounded by the rich colors and traditions of Indian craftsmanship, which inspired my love for design. Moving to Jaipur, I immersed myself in the fashion industry, gaining hands-on experience with export houses and manufacturers that shaped my understanding of production from the ground up.
I founded Sorahi to bring clarity, integrity, and flexibility to fashion production. Combining deep industry knowledge with a design-rooted approach, Sorahi partners with brands worldwide to create collections that are crafted with care, precision, and transparency.

Our Namesake
Sorahi is a word from my Marwari roots — one that holds the feeling of ease, comfort, and quiet contentment. It’s what we say when something feels just right.
When I set out to build this company, I knew I wanted a name that carried both warmth and intention. In a conversation with my father — simple, but one I’ll always remember — this word came up. It felt like home.
It also reminded me of the little moments I grew up seeing in Rajasthan:

a man resting in the afternoon sun, his posture unhurried, his spirit at ease.
That is the essence I wanted for Sorahi: to make things feel easy — the process, the communication, the production. Comfort, built with care.
